3. Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of the 14 December 2016 meeting (copy attached)
4. Matters arising
   1. Loan for the works to the Avenue – to receive report on progress from the Clerk
   2. Works to the Avenue – to note the expected date for the works to commence
   3. Stones in the beck sides – to note discussion has occurred
5. Policing report – NYCC police have been invited to provide a report – copy to be circulated once received.
6. Financial matters –

1. To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see below and attached)
   1. To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting (see below)
   2. Internal Auditor – to identify a possible internal auditor

7. Highways
   1. Works on road to Bedale – to note work is to be undertaken
   2. White line painting in the village – to identify any requirement for re-painting of white lines
   3. Winter gritting route – to discuss gritting route in the village
   4. Institute footpath – to discuss need for improvements
8. Sandbags – to note replacement bags have been delivered
9. Playing Field Committee –
   1. To receive draft minutes of meeting held on 18 January (copy attached)
   2. To discuss and determine vehicle access to the playing field
10. Half-yearly check of the village – to receive report from Cllrs Duck and Rydewski
11. Membership of the Institute Committee – to confirm Sarah Lowe as the PC representative on the Committee
