NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

Snape with Thorp Parish Council

 Agenda for the Annual Meeting of the Council to be held on Monday 26 July 2021 at 6.30 pm in the Snape Institute  

  1. Apologies for absence – to receive apologies
  2. Declarations of interest – to receive any declarations of interest in agenda items
  3. Minutes – to agree and sign the minutes of meeting held on 20 May (copy attached)
  4. Matters arising
    1. Kerbing – to receive a report from Cllr Duck and to agree any action
    2. Deeds and other legal documents – update from the Clerk, including report from YLCA previously circulated to Councillors, and to agree any action
    3. Response from Broadacres regarding stones in the beck behind their property on Neville Row – to receive a report from the Clerk and to agree any action
    4. Do not Litter signs – to agree position of these at the entrances to the village
  5. Police report – a representative of NY Police is expected to attend the meeting (see attached report)
  6. Financial matters –
  1. To approve the receipts and payments since the last meeting (see attached finance report and reconciliation)
  2. To note hours of work undertaken by the Clerk since the last meeting  (see attached finance report)
  1. Financial resolutions – to receive report from the Clerk
  2. Planning applications
    1. Update on recent planning applications – to note report from Clerk
    2. Planning application – proposed extension to Gebdykes Quarry NY/21/0124/ENV – planning documents can be found at https://onlineplanningregister.northyorks.gov.uk/Register/PlanAppDisp.aspx?recno=11300
    3. Prices Paving and Stone Ltd – to review any updated information and agree any action
  3. Grass cutting in the Avenue and village – to discuss comments received and agree any action required
  4. Land at the top of the playing field – to discuss and agree consultation process and content with regard to the proposal from parishioner previously received
  5. Maintenance spreadsheet – (see attached document) – to discuss and update as required
  6. Queen’s Jubilee in 2022 – to discuss and agree any action
  7. Carbon reduction approaches – to discuss and agree any action required
